About This Website

Dennis Perkinson and Jo-Anne Hyland were married on 27 June 1972. Research into our ancestors began in the mid-1990's and has been addressed with varying degrees of both effort and success since then. Often, the project has been put on the shelf for extended periods of time due to other family and job commitments. The information we have garnerd has finally reached the point at which it needs to be made available to anyone who wishes to review it. Hence, this website.

There is significantly more information on the website concerning Dennis' ancestors than Jo-Anne's. This is because much more information is readily available due to the fact that Jo-Anne's ancestors, by and large, immigrated to the U.S. almost 150 years later than did Dennis' ancestors. Our hope is that we will ultimately be able to expand the Hyland and Lutz family lines to an extent similar to that in the Perkinson, Pyles and Teague lines.
